Nine Excellence and my 997.1 Turbo

I'm relaxed it was just a thought. Does that mean they adjust via the memory button on the door panel?

Be good to meet up nr Porsche Hatfield at some point - back off to Dubai soon

Yes that's right you could store 3 different settings on the door with them (never used that though) and code the memory to the driver keys.
Meetup sounds good, Porsche Hatfield is not too far and if your car is not ready please bring the 991 turbo S I would love to see it :)

I've sat in a 997 with buckets before and felt high. In 991 I'm far too high to the point I feel uncomfortable. Its not my car so doesn't matter in the 991

My car has left 9e and they gave me an unbelievably light bill following my trip into a farmers field. Now in paint shop for full glass out respray via one of 911 Virgins suppliers. No new panels required or any structural damage. All four wheels were still straight on the geo when Ken put her on their geo machine post my excursion. Very lucky lad. Would love to spruce the interior up with the exterior soon to be concourse

One last question on your old seats. Are they the adaptive seats which firm up one side or the other on corners? Well jel of you guys with CF folding buckets

Cheers mate, I'll keep you posted and if I don't get on with them I'll be honest about it but after spending nearly 2hrs in them yesterday they were great. Need to get the car out on a track day next :)

Another update... I decided to update / refresh the wheels. I did not mind them in black but after nearly 2 years I fancied a change.
Chris at Exel Wheels had such a great reputation on here so I gave him a call and he did not disappoint.

Chris was very flexible with collection times and made the two hr trip into London with a spare set of wheels.

It was actually nice to see how the car would look lowered on those... not terrible I thought :)

Now onto the colour... I really wanted to go with Weiss gold but with my car not having a fixed wing I was just not sure it would work.
It was such a tough decision so after discussing with Chris we went with anthracite. My thinking was if I made a mistake I change it in a year or so.

Chris was great and sent me pictures all through out the process... he then made the horrible 2hr return trip to London and fitted the wheels. Very happy with how they came out and how they look on the car.

A big thanks to Chris, a real gentleman who spent another two hrs in London traffic returning the wheels in this 33 degrees heat. :worship:

Highly recommended :thumb:

Cheers Jin, perhaps just different, not better :)
Colour is always so subjective and what you love others hate. But this is an OEM colour so pretty happy with it.

Aha! It was your car Chris was talking about when he dropping off my wheels.. Funnily enough I was also thinking about Weiss Gold and had a long discussion about it, but bottled it in the end and went with silver which to be fair I'm happy with. My car is Atlas with a blue interior, so I thought the Weiss Gold may have been a bit much. If I'd had black seats I'd have probably gone for it. Talking of seats, those carbon buckets look awesome :thumb:

Not being a fan of black wheels, I think the Anthracite is a nice subtle choice.

+1 for Exel Wheels

Cheers mate Chris told me about your wheels too.. said he never before had two sets of GT2 wheels in the same week :)
Saw pics of your car and it looks great, love your number plate :thumb:

I think that wheel style and colour are absolutely spot on, have never been a big fan of Black wheels but that colour is bang up to date. Stunning car, would love to have a run in something that quick to feel the difference.

Thanks so much, i'll be more happy to take you for a spin :)
