Tiptronic Transmission Adaption Reset

I would like to clear the adaption values in my tiptronic transmission. The car being a 2003 C4S has the later Mercedes unit.

I have an iCarsoft unit which is able to communicate with the gearbox and can clear fault codes but I don't think it has the capability to clear adaptions.

Is my understanding correct that the only way to clear the adaption values is with a PIWIS or Durametric diagnostic tool?

Durametric can definitely do it and obviously piwis not sure on any other devices.
