Yup it's still the same. Salvage cars are only categorised by the Insurance industry itself. There is no basis in law that says a cat b can't be put back on the road for instance.

Just look at them as going through a restoration. I remember watching an orange carrera 2.7 going through a restoration and thinking 90% of the cars shell was new metal. It was insane. I've had a few myself and had no problems with getting them insured or even warrantied for some.

I bet you could even flip that for a profit already. Glad you went with what you felt, you really can't fall off with what you've bought.

Personally on your car I would do the IMS and then change it every clutch change as a maintenance item. Thats just my point of view having had 3 NA M96 engined cars. :thumb:
