Sometimes the clutch tangs fail.

Lets wait to hear the diagnosis.....

It is awful it has happened, but even more so that you don't know what the problem is yet!
Good luck and all the best

Its got to be clutch, I reckon its started to break up (got the car in the garage, so it does not have to see rain ) but when cold it grabbed a little, then after a few seconds later just slipped to a halt. It went up a slight incline though :thumb:

Just want it fixed now. :thumb:

Good luck Buddy :thumb:

Im sure as the Guys said it will be the flippin clutch !

:yeah:

I hope it's just the Homing Beacon launcher

Bad luck!

As others have said, more than likely a clutch issue. I would think it is something to do with the mechanism rather than wear. Thrust bearing??

Hope it's a quick, simple and cheap fix!!

FWIW your car still looks fast stood still!!

Nice pics!

This could be related?

I need that game, what is it please :thumb:

Any news boba???

Got some good news today, it is indeed a driveshaft come undone and fallen off and done some damage to its flange and a pipe that needs to renewed (nothing that 1k can't sort out) what is alarming is that I had a new clutch fitted just 2k miles ago and the other driveshaft was not tightened properly and would also have fallen off in the near future.

I will be speaking to them in the morning

Having a service done, I do every year with my car, none of this 2 year nonsense, and some work done as well, having all new clips, bolts and clamps done, because Porsche made them out of cheese that then rusts.

Nice to know its a Specialist error and not a weakness with our Cars :thumb:

Good news boba, it will be interesting to see what your Indy says about it, are they doing the work or is it a different garage??
