As for your oil leak - this is very very common on these cars Szymon. Mine was the same when I bought it. If it is only very small (no puddle on the drive) then it will not be doing the car any harm. Most owners (self included) wait until it needs a new clutch and then fix the problem then. Usually RMS but with mine it was the IMS cover plate leaking. When we fixed this we also removed the outer seal from the bearing so that fresh engine oil would lubricate it and also checked that it was still in mint condition.

Here was my thread on it. Don't bother reading past page 1:

Surprising Szymon's car has an oil leak, seeing as it had new RMS along with the clutch change in Dec 16... annoying.

I did the headlights on mine... quite scary sanding off the finish, I wondered what I was doing! Came up brilliantly though, makes such a difference.

Looks a great car anyway, good to see you getting stuck in with some jobs! :thumb:

Thank you all for warm welcome!!

C4-STORM - yes I like colour of my Porsche more and more every time I'm look on it

skinny_monkey - have you changed gearbox mount?

BK911 - indeed, I have learned about it 2 seconds after disconnected battery and it is loud

Robertb - RMS done with clutch now car is on 109K leak is only visible on car nothing dropping (car was parked in garage for 4 days nothing on floor) I read about leaks could be IMS seal RMS or gearbox and if it is RMS......

Now to add some excitement I drain oil yesterday and find some tiny flakes in oil filter (pictures to follow) not much, I can't find magnet to check if it is aluminium or metal, I will take off oil pan today, can I use RTV silicon to put it back together I got FAI RTV silicon?

Also since I will take off oil pan maybe I should go for x51 oil pan I'm planning to take my car to race track few times :?:

I think these are aluminium difficult to take it out of filter and will not stick to magnet.

Oil pan without any metal flakes but with these strange looking soft rubber rubbish also pan is covered with micro cracks.

TopGear!

:D I will think about it....

I will need you help with another :?:

I have to find ground for tail lights n/s I think,

problem:

time to time my brake lights operate as it should 3 light comes up but recently find out most times n/s don't, but to do even more exiciting when lights are turn on and press brake o/s on 3rd on n/s dims itself release brake and n/s o/s back to normal but 3rd light stays on not fully bright just barely visible glow :?

So my plan is to check ground point and check with lights if I have connection.

Brake light switch? Alex posted an excellent guide yesterday.

I think switch is fine, why: I took it off and 3rd light still glow.

Your left brake light fault is intermittent Szymon. Following you back - sometimes it work, sometimes it doesn't.
