This has to be a misprint or a scam surely?

Apologies for high-jacking the thread but I thought George Eaton was the innocent party that sort of got taken advantage of by a.n.other. I know there is a lengthy thread on the whole story that I did sort of dip into a bit at the time but it got confusing so I gave up - was Eaton innocent or have I misunderstood?

Sorry for going off at a tangent.

Have another read.

I was bored so emailed the seller. Not supr8singly there's a story lol, here's his reply. I already reported it to PH as a scam...

First time, thank you for showing an interest in my 1997 Porsche 911 993 Carrera. I have attached some photos of the car. The car is perfect condition, no scratches, no need for additional repairs, also you can verified the service history using Reg#pP723VFA, MOT until 25.06 2018, HPI clear, and has 60,000 total miles. My asking price is actually the exact amount I need to update my vehicle, thus I am looking to get £17,000 in order to avoid any delays.

Currently I'm on a meeting of doctors in Warsaw (Poland) traveling due to the nature of my job, if you are a serious buyer, we can sort out the details in next mail.

Regards,

Dr. Michael Anderson

I am guessing he is a colleague of British surgeon George Eaton.

I recievied my invoice,,,,,,LOL

hes just emailed me also asking why i hadn't responded.

I told him I had a low loader and would travel with cash. You must be the other interested party Chris !!!

Here's one of the replies I received: :floor:

Due to the fact that I am very busy with my work and don't stay too much at home, I had choseen to sell the car using the services provided of Express-Horizon - also I had a nice experience with them. The car and is located in their company, sealed and ready for delivery!

Here is how it will work: According with Express-Horizon you have 7 days from the time you receive the car to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not. You will receive along with the vehicle all it's papers, documents and manuals.

After period of inspection, if you decide to keep the vehicle, they will release the money to me and our transaction is complete, if, by any reason, you won't be satisfied with the car, you can return it at my expense for a full refund of your money, no questions asked.

- If you're interested in purchasing it just e-mail me your complete name and the shipping address so I can initiate the deal through Express-Horizon or you can register on on website http://express-horizon .com.

Seems legit to me.
Now where is the letter from the lawyer about the £40m I've inherited so I can pay the £13k admin fee
