Has anyone had any dealings with this company? the car looks nice and seems to have a good spec but its been on the market for a while it seems?

Some reviews here: https://www.carbuyingadvisor.co.uk/car-dealer-review/motorhub/A73D52F7-C44C-4D21-83C5-B8E03272C322

How the hell do they stay in business? And how do they maintain a trading license?
No way on this earth would I go near an establishment like that..... :nooo:

I probably would not buy from them either with that reputation but if the car passes an OPC inspection and is still under warranty so I would never have to deal with motor-hub after the purchase I would reconsider.

Such a shame because it is a lovely car.

I used to live / work near them - their reputation was in the toilet and well known about locally

First OPC flipped GT3.2 car at Porsche Glasgow ...

Reckon car was about £138K list, so that is a £57K mark-up (41%). :nooo:
Pretty sickening really and so soon after launch.
Owner must have had a tremendous time doing those 800 miles.
Obviously a genuine enthusiast. :cigar:

Wonder if it's been chopped in against a new RS?

I did hear the caveat for some getting an RS allocation was to trade their GT back at list!

I wonder what they would want for a manual CS?

Wondered this as well. But if you're on for a GT3RS build slot, why go through the hassle of a GT3 purchase, unless there is something in it for you :?: Why not go 50-50 on the £57K profit with the dealer?
Whatever it is, it is a racket that does no favours to genuine enthusiasts who want the cars to drive and enjoy.

Which is correct, to stay in the line for future models you have to sell any existing GT car to an OPC and specifically the OPC providing you with the next option

on that £57k mark up, the OPC is probably taking a sizeable chunk of that

Im all for looking after existing customers but the whole opc and gt car thing just seems like a big cartel!!

I get the whole relationship thing but how are they expecting to bring new people to the brand, it kinda puts me off buying from an opc when the time comes.

Don't know the car but wheels aside it looks nice, I know everybody is different but how someone could look at those and think it's an improvement is beyond me!

No mention in the add as to whether original exhaust is included in the sale, with the known engine issues these cars can have and how slippery Porsche can be regarding warranty claims I'd be very nervous with that exhaust on.

May be wrong but head unit looks aftermarket, which, if so, along with the 'discreet subwoofer' may hinder your chances of getting a Porsche warranty.

Does anyone know this cars and whats your thoughts on the aftermarket exhaust and wheels for warranty issues?

Dealer says 6 months warranty? You need to be sure what that means. With aftermarket parts it's unlikely to be a Porsche warranty. Running a 991.1 without an OPC warranty at this point in time would be a bit of a risk given that they are not immue to having multiple engine swaps.

For this very reason, would only ever buy a 991.1 GT3 from an OPC.
A reasonable number of cars available from the OPC network at this price point.

There's a reason (or two) why that car is not at an OPC.
Understand the reason(s) and you'll understand why that car is not for you with your shopping list of wants.

Skip ad and look at OPC.
