I'm having some issues with the clutch/gearbox, can anyone give me some advice?
It's been tricky to get it into first at times and I was having to double declutch most of the time. Initially dreading a syncro ring and rebuild..
I had my tame bmw mechanic by my place change engine mounts (one had failed) change transmission fluid and put new design gearbox mount inserts in; little change to first gear.

Driving today I found if I burried the clutch to the carpet as hard/far as I could I had no problems at all getting into first.

I'm guessing that the syncro is OK but it needs the clutch bleeding or something resetting or the slave cylinder is dying maybe? What are people's thoughts
