Hi guys,I was wondering if any of you have experience or feedback on this dealer in NI?

Yeah, don't know him personally but know of him. Very good reputation over here on a few of the local forums, seems to want to do things right and his stock seems to be very nice.

Thanks, good to hear. My next question is if I was buying a car from them with warranty, shall I even bother getting an inspection from external party?

Do you guys get inspections regardless of the dealer you buy your car from?

I had a PPI done on my car by Performance Porsche (Klassiker 911) and wish I'd not bothered. They took my money but gave me nothing but a few photos and a two minute phonecall, despite the fact they'd told me I'd get a written report. More worryingly they seemed to side with the seller and neglected to mention many issues. Avoid them! :bandit:

On the mainland UL there are a few Porsche Specialists that it would be safe to buy from without an independent PPI.

As a general rule if the dealer doesn't offer a comprehensive 'in-house' warranty an independent PPI would be recommended as most 'bought in' warranties don't have a worthwhile single claim limit for a Porsche purchase.

Is it a 996 you're buying from them? If so I'd certainly be getting a PPI done just for some peace of mind. McMillan specialist cars could sort you out on that front.

Thanks. I have already contacted McMillan, hopefully they can help!
