Brewer slags off Ed China on Youtube

Going slightly OT, but my favourites for a car work/fabrication videos by a mile are the guys from Bad Obsession Motorsport with Project Binky. Now that is a serious project. If you haven't seen it, put the kettle on and look it up.

MC

You're not kidding MC.

If I didnt feel inadequate before, I do now.

Superb stuff.

Brewer in the early series came over as quite well informed. But as time has gone on, he has got sucked in by the razzmatazz and is now quite useless. Both Edd and now Ant just magnify Brewer's uselessness.

An earlier contributor mentioned Goblin Works Garage - amongst my favourites at the moment. All 3 presenters seem to know their stuff, and it manages to be sufficiently different from other shows to make GWG worth watching. :thumb:

...also its American cars...

The Escort Cosworth, '82 Celica, '73 Saab, Mitsubishi 3000GT and Austin Healey...? Even though they are making it over there, there are only actually 3 yank tanks in the whole of the latest series, so that is perhaps a tad unfair.

I love watching them, but often thought Ed must get fed up with all the graft he does then glossed over, when in reality its dead hard work, & now he gets slagged off by Brewer because he`s downed tools & doesn't want to do it anymore.

The actual cost of the build ? They make it look like its a piece of piss to make a profit, not counting all the labour, tools, workshop, energy bills, they've changed works shops about 5 times.

Also go on line after to look at similar cars & the prices he buys them for are BS, plus who buys them at the end - are the deals a set up I think.

Rant over still like watching it though :)

Actually - they do now give the amount of hours that they have burned through in the breakdown (but that is a new thing).
