A virtual pint to anyone that can tell me what these little m8 spacers are for?

I have not yet screwed the car back together after some exhaust work but don't want to get too far down the line if these are being reused! It may be that they came from the old exhaust or hangers in which case they can be used as ornaments.

It may become apparent as I fit the new exhaust and refit the rear bumper, lights, PU, air box etc but I am currently scraping my head :D

That's why I chose to wear nitrile gloves over barrier cream. I considered double bagging but they are hardly a handful so one pair sufficed. I will remember to take a heat gun to them before whacking a bolt through the middle and applying liberal amounts of copper grease - feathers not required :p

Looks like I win the prize......turned out to be spacers for the tail pipe fixings - the last job of my successful Kline installation today 😏
