I totally agree with Scholester
Lucky for you guys is that Porsche are more than happy to inspect a potential car and even put a warranty on it for those who are not comfortable purchasing one sold as seen
So before you even part with you money you can gauge from the above check if your getting a a good car or not
Reference to the miles that is just a number (well for me anyway :mrgreen
I'd personally go of condition as you can normally tell its been cared for or not
Know of few 997.2t that have over 140k miles on them one with even full Porsche Main Dealer service history with the Porsche Warranty renewed every year until it went passed the 120k miles mark which is the cut off for Porsche to renew a warranty yet even now it is still serviced by Porsche
If you look and drive the car you couldn't tell its done the miles unless you look at the clocks lol
Yet at times i've seen cars with 30k miles 2-3 owners and haven't been as in good condition as most of high miler cars i've seen/driven
Each to their own i guess
And to OP good luck finding one both the 997.1t manual and the 977.2t pdk are awesome cars
Think it's just going to come down to which ever ones comes up first in the market lol?

I offered a chap £2-3k more than the dealers were offering him so by my reckoning I saved myself about £7k.apollokre1d said:reisskhan said:you snooze you lose (nothing to do with me btw  )

So a dealer bought it and hrs later after presumably doing nothing to it listed it for over 10K more...

.. someone missed out on a potentially good pvt sale
I rang the dealer he'd bought it through a year/5000 miles previous (Alexander's of Boroughbridge) and the OPC that looked after the car and all was well so the deal was done.
