The HERO (Historic Endurance Rallying Organisation) run event "Le Jog" (Lands End to John O'Groats) passed through Exeter Racecourse this weekend where the drivers had to complete two special tests before moving on. Some great looking cars, well looked after, but certainly no garage queens! Anyone fancy a go next year?! :puh:

Hi Infrasilver it's about £3k entry for the Le Jog and also the Rally of the Tests but that includes all if not most of the accommodation, service crew, route book etc. My good lady wife has said that she will navigate for me even after having sworn after the Monte Historique "that was it, never again". The years have perhaps dulled the stress and fatigue we felt after that event.

Although I have two classic rally cars, they've had a relatively hard life and they're enjoying retirement  so I'm looking for something that I don't care quite so much about particularly if it's likely to get a bump or two!

Mmmmmm 1275GT at the top. My first car. Mine was dog poo (russet) brown though
