Called to book my 997 in for an interim service tonight and Nick Taylor advised me that after 32 years, PCT are calling it a day

PCT was where I bought my first ever 911 2 years ago and I for one remain very grateful for the fantastic service and friendship I have had over the This time

With PCT leaving the Indy scene I firmly believe that this will leave a huge void for many of us who have had privilege of either buying a car or having a car serviced/ repaired by them. Their service, knowledge and experience has been second to none!

In any case, I wish Simon, Nick, David, Paul, Richard, Phil and all the team at PCT all the very best for the future .......you'll be missed!

Kind regards,
Kev H

I've known this has been happening for a while but suprised, I thought they might've sold it as a going concern as they have a good reputation.

News to me :nooo:

Like Pete says, I`m surprised that they aren`t selling it as a going concern, it must be a profitable business :dont know:

That's a pity. I have never been a customer myself, but I've witnessed the first class service that my brother received at PCT.

Very sad news, where do we go now?

Across the road to Martin Brown. But PLEASE dont jump the queue, my cars in there at the moment.

The post starts with "after 32 years..." so I can assume they are retiring after 32 years. Everything has a life cycle and its natural to lay down the spanners after so many tears and enjoy other activities in life.

Sell as a going concern? Maybe they did try, maybe they didn't. But there are plenty of indies for Porsche already - someone mentioned one across the road?

I moved from using PCT to Zuffenhaus a couple of years ago - and can report it as a very positive experience. They are doing my servicing on my 964 and also repaired a driveshaft issue without fuss or drama.

Just Received this from PCT

As from December 22nd 2017 P.C.T Cars Ltd will cease trading.

The reason for this is that our directors' ages are either past retirement age or fast approaching it!

Our lease is due for renewal at the end of January 2018 and after much deliberation and many sleepless nights it was decided not to renew the lease for another 5 years. We have decided to hang up our spanners and call it a day!

Our great passion for all things Porsche has meant that PCT has been much more a way of life than a business, we have been lucky to meet many lovely people, who we think of as friends and drive loads of fabulous cars.

May we take this opportunity to thank all of our customers past and present for their loyalty, business and sharing in our journey for the past 40 years and wish you all the best for the festive period, 2018 and onwards.

Kindest Regards,
David Pattison, Simon Corbett and Nick Taylor

that's a shame

but nothing mentioned on their website about this :dont know:

It was and still is a great business. They have been looking after my 993 for more than 10 years and provided a superb service.

The staff may resurface in another location.

I would be interested to know. They certainly have got a big book of loyal customers.
