I've done a fair bit of searching however I've not found anything specific, I'm looking to work out what size Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's I should be fitting to my MK1 GT3, it's currently got Pirellis on it in 285/30/18 and 225/40/18 any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Same size I would have thought :?

If they dont do the fronts in you size you may have to stretch to 235/40/18.

Personally I would hold off on Cup tyres until the track season starts again although I gather they are better than the original Cup tyres for wet weather. Michelin PS2 maybe (I gather we may be on a later iteration now) or winter tyres would be a better bet now.

The tyre sizes quoted in The 911 GT3 (A3 size white hardback) are 235/40ZR18 on 8.5J front and 295/30ZR18 on 11J rear.

Not sure if this helps.

Cheers, Keith.

I think GT3 Mk I has slightly narrower front rims. - 8J ?

From Rennlist:
Mk1 Fronts 8J X 18 ET 52 11.5 Kgs
Mk1 Rears 10J X 18 ET65 13.1Kgs

Mk2 Fronts 8.5J X 18 ET40 12.25Kgs
Mk2 Rears 11J x 18 ET63 13.6Kgs

Thanks Pip for clearing up the detail.

Cheers, Keith.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the help, will stick with the standard sizes then, now to find the cheapest place to get them from!

Recently checked pricing for Cup2 and Camskill were best so worth including them in your search I would say.

Pip is spot on.

Run 225 40 18 on the front and 285 35 18 rear

I managed to pick up a pair of fronts for a very good price, now on the look out for some rears. Should I go 285/30 or 285/35? Mine currently has 30 but 35 was mentioned earlier.

285 30 18 is what you need.

35 will knock out the speedo out a little
