Afternoon learned forum members. I'm in need of some knowledge please.

Bought myself a C4 as a keeper a couple of months ago and have just embarked on a series of subtle mods which I'll complete by next March ready for the summer.

Completed so far:
Turbo twist alloys refurbished & new tyres
Becker Cascade with Genesis amp and bluetooth audio fitted by local specialist
Live remap by Wayne Schofield (visited yesterday)
3 spoke leather steering wheel with leather airbag (just awaiting return of the wheel from RoyalSteering Wheels)

Planned for early 2018:
Some minor paint correction to front & rear bumpers
new engine mounts
Cargraphic exhausts
visit to Centre Gravity

So, getting to my question. I noticed the rear parcel shelf is slightly warped towards the side of the rear wiper. I've removed it and theres no apparent damage - its in great condition, so don't really want to spend £700+ on a new one. What I have noticed is the plastic slot thats fixed to the rear wiper is loose and I'm wondering whether this should in fact be fixed higher towards the windscreen which would then lift the shelf and prevent it from dropping? I never had this in my previous 993s and never had cause to remove the shelf/back wall lining.

Any suggestions? Should the slot be fixed rather than loose?

Thanks :?:

It sounds like you are into your audio if you have a Genesis amp (Good taste, I have the 100w 4 channel in the boot powering 2 Focal WRC 6.5 components and 2 KRX 6.5 components). If you are planning on fitting better rear speakers you might want to fabricate a rear parcel shelf to handle bigger speakers than the OEM sized ones.
