Insurance renewal time

Avoid Skippy, although they are cheap the will charge the earth for any amendments and its a basic cover.

I ensured my 996 turbo X50, Merc S Class AMG, BMW M6 V10 and an Audi A3 Diesel with Admiral for £1,200. under their multi car Insurance. Bargain :D

I've used Privilege for the last few years, very competitive and no stupid rises at renewal either.

There are several specialist classic car Insurance schemes that will do a good price but I found that many of them had quite odd approaches to driving history, business use and theft cover, eg one refused to cover my wife because she had no driving experience of high performance cars and I had to prove that I had driven a Caterham for several years as my expertise. Several have a clause that excludes cover for theft at night if at home but the car is not in a locked garage, I queried what if I came back late one night, left the car on the drive locked while I got the key to the garage and in that time it was nicked and was told that wouldn't be covered.

Privilege had no such restrictions, wife, business use, mods and were very competitive. they are part of Direct Line Group so claims wise, they are vanilla but have quite a good reputation for dealing with claims quickly.
