Fortunately not for me as I have a Porsche warranty despite the car being seven years old. The 3.0D engine developed an oil leak, so OPC took it in for a warranty repair. Apparently the engine has to come out, so the factory require a few other potential warranty claim oil seals replaced at the same time. All put back together and lo and behold one of the new seals leaks and the engine has to come out for a second time. It's all fixed now and I had the pleasure of a courtesy V8 diesel Cayenne during the two week repair period. I don't know whether they were trying to enhance my smugness, but the service department reckon the final bill is likely to be in the region of £8-9,000.
