I showed this super old short-chassis 911 for a friend at Classics at the Castle. 1967 911S. 2.0-litre with Webers. I drove up to the garage that was fettling it in my 993 and picked it up. Swapped over again this morning. (Good to meet fellow Slate Grey 993-er AD64 at the event).
The 911S was certainly an experience and getting back into the 993 was like picking up a new 991 at £100k+... Just shows how good all the cars are. I really would not swap out of the 993 into (say) a 997 G2. Like to have a go in 1973 2.4S, though.
