What did you buy your 997 this week?

Some new back lights, a rear screen with no wiper hole and some labour to fit them (and fit the new bumpers.too).

Thanks a really nice inspired take on the sport classic with a twist . Its come together really nicely Aero front, sport classic rear , ducktail , 3rd brake delete panel and gt2 side skirts and finished off with a nice set of alloys . It gets my vote :thumb: :thumb:

So tell me about the side skirts as they look like a fitted panel as the wide body cars have and not a fitted over the sill like the aftermarket narrow body cars have but it looks like a narrow body car or is that just the angle. :thumb:

Hey Phil, my car is a C4S and those skirts are the Porsche aerokit ones. Part numbers are 99750498100 and 99750498200. Doddle to fit, jack up one side of the car, remove the wheels, undo the retaining screws and then unclip the existing skirt. The new one pops onto the clips and is then secured by the screws. Must be easy, managed to do the job myself without breaking anything.

Great thanks for the part numbers , I have now come to the conclusion that the aerokit, GTS, GT2 and GT3RS side skirts are all the same , they certainly all look the same. so unless anyone says they are not I might as well use the part numbers you have .

James the local mobile tech spent some time at mine today fitting a new Alcantara sport wheel, some carbon sill inserts ,porsche word in black on the back. Slowly coming together how I want. :thumb: :thumb:

Phil love your GT3 RS rear bumper, I've seen the kit available in the Porsche shop, but unsure of how it will look with a turbo wing.
Can you say where you got it from. Post some more pics pls :worship:

Thanks
Nick

Nick , I have sent you a PM mate, but the rear bumper is OE GT3RS and the carbon rear diffuser is available from AKRAPOVIK :thumb:

Some Macan tailpipe tips. Couldn't find an off the shelf solution to the single outlet bumper exhaust apertures so decided that cutting down and modifying a pair of Macan ones might work. Also had to chop up a pair of standard 911 Tips to get the correct internal diameter and fixings. Pretty pleased with the outcome (apologies for the show plate). Thinking a black and silver bonnet badge might finish it off, any thoughts?
