We buy any car....Porsche

Assuming my car was a standard 2001 turbo tip on 75k miles, WBAC say they will give me £30k for it.

I value my personal high spec, modified, high BHP car at over £10k more than this but looking at the cars on AT and PH which are for sale, and those that have been for sale for a long time, I actually don't think its a bad offer for a standard car if you're in a rush.

I see lots of turbos not shifting at the moment, perhaps the value of certain porsches is softening :?:

Sold to WBAC

quick, easy, nice price - same as i paid nearly four years ago.

Offered to two Porsche dealers with no response of note from either plus a lower offer from OPC

i dont think WBAC are as bad as some dealers would like us to think

Yep, I told you they weren't bad compared to OPC who should hang their head in shame with their mark ups.

Well done :thumb:

WBAC Porsche

Took my manual 997 S to WBAC and their offer and valuation was in the middle between OPC and specialists. Car immaculate but they 'found' additional faults and knocked down by 100 quid - 2 microscopic paint chips even though I'd had the front bonnet, wings and grille all resprayed and matched immaculately (Atlas Grey) shortly before.

Test drive involved reversing car out of space, driving forward, reversing back. That was it. Their man knew absolutely nothing about 911s at all.

Option to get paid within 30 mins of handing over keys so not as bad as some being told several hours or next day.

In the end, I P/X'ed as part of a 993 purchase.

Hi FF and welcome to 911uk .......come on over to the 993 forum and introduce yourself and tell us about your "new" car ........ picture are obligatory at some stage ......... :)

I did a valuation on mine a while back......they offered £6k.
