Titanium Brake Caliper Studs - who wants some?

Definitely very interested

Yep 996 4s (turbo red calipers) for me as well.

Don't suppose you've considered making ti wheel nuts?

Hi All,

The first set of these has now completed DT and FEA as it was looking like it was a bit more than just the one set required - the powers that be insist these are marked "Motorsport Use Only" (because anything brakes + insurer =) but I can confirm they yield at 2.2 times the load of the original fastener which itself has a factor of safety built in.

I have two sets here (destroyed one in testing) to the original specification for PCCB mounting. For 996 Turbo and C2/C4/Boxster/Cayman I will need to draw up a new design with the lengths reduced accordingly as I believe there will be some combinations that foul the wheel if running 17" rims with the smaller 4 pot brakes and longer stud.

I expect to have an option for all those that want some in around 4 weeks. In the meantime the two sets of PCCB ones are available now :) PM if interested.

Digging this from the depths!!

Did this ever go ahead - I have pm'd Matt to check but I suspect he's been busy and not been on for a while.
