Hi Chaps,

Having stalked a few detailers, and paint correction guys for a while now, I'm pretty set on using Griffiths Detailing, Liverpool. Bit of a ball ache to get to, but from what I see, and the reviews, and the conversations I've had, he seems to be pretty good. I've considered Richard Tipper, but he's a fair way south, so real pain to leave a car with him, or pay twice over for him to come to me. I've also considered Reep, but I've yet to clarify there links with Redline, who's cars I found to be poorly prepped.

Anyway, having become aware that he's a bit shy of work this next couple of weeks, I did a deal which he's happy to do for any other 911uk members.

His Silver Plus Correction Detail for £1,000. (Normally £1,250), which includes his Silver package, plus another stage of polishing for ultimate detail, wheels off Coating and Calipers Coating. He'll also upgrade the Ceramic to CQuartz Finest Reserve for 911uk members.

Just drop him a tweet/email, mention this thread, and do a deal!

It is just to fill his gaps, so get it while it's there!!

Unfortunately I can't get across these next two weeks, otherwise I'd be booked in already.

For the sceptics, I'm not linked in any way, or receiving anything for this, just spreading the love with fellow 911 owners, looking to make them look great!

As far as Reep goes, I can ashore you there services are first class. Had my car done last week at the Yorkshire workshop.

Paintcorrection is a bit more in depth than 'a polish'. It takes them days to complete. It's a massive amount if work. And the ceramic coat is expensive also.

I had a 2 stage machine polish, gtechniq c1&exo (might have been c2v3) done in 3 days for £500. Including glass but not wheels.

This was at ATD in derby, I'm very pleased with the outcome. Ceramic coating not as swirl-proof as I had hoped, but it still beads like crazy and dirt just drops off, over 12 months later.

Again, I have no affiliation to them.

I'm also from Yorkshire, so I resented the £1,000 to start, then having to go over the borders (we don't like to travel, especially on a bank holiday), but then I realized its not something I can do 'Mi Sen', so thought I best get it done before I blow it all on t'whippets and Tetleys.

One of the best in the business is based on the North West....

Not spoke to him for a while but its by appointment only and he never suffers from a lack of work ;-)

I used Chris Griffiths a few years ago and I know a lot of people with very high end cars and a few main dealers use him. His attention to detail/OCD is mind boggling and I would consider him one of the best in the UK, I've never heard a bad word said about him. If I didn't get so many stone chips I would use Chris more regularly and he's not over priced for the amount of work he put in.

+1 for Matt
He did my car when a careless building contractor got paint drift all over my car. I got back an amazing result. He also fixed up some leather blemishes whilst he had the car. A great guy to boot.
