AM radio just stopped working

Out of the blue today all of my pre-set AM stations stopped working. They just sound like they are out of tune and full of hissing. Tried retuning but still the same so no more Radio 5 live which is a shame and no more TalkSport which is probably a blessing.

FM stations are fine.

Sounds a bit odd, anyone else experienced this one?

Odd question - I listen to AM and FM radio shows and CDs. AM stations no longer work
 
Could water be getting in somewhere?
Not looked on the 997, but they usually have at least 2 antennas for FM & AM.
Failing that, what about a pm to Tore? Think he's a site sponsor and PCM wizz.
