Plus warrenty can be applied upto 15 year old cars now even if theyve not had opc servicing or non-oem parts.

:chin:

I think you'd need to check that out. It doesn't sound right to me.

i dont as OPC Leicester asked if i wanted to sell my 6.2 GT3 to them last (?) year when the warrenty period was extended to 15 years.

I mentioned that it had non-oem battery, serviced at JZM etc. and they said it wouldnt have been an issue. Im sure theyd have said oh your car is worth X, but as this part needs replacing for OEM we'll give you Y instead

OK but that's not what your earlier post was stating.

What you actually meant was ..... If Porsche are happy* with the service history, carry out a major service themselves and replace the non OEM parts a warranty could be applied until the car is 14 years old.

*Not all non-OPC servicing will be acceptable.

Sorry for the pedantry.

few bits done today and car feeling great. changing direction like a house fly!

OEM mounts changed for Torque solutions semi solid mounts.
function first transmission mounts to replace the softer oem ones
oil n filter changed
repassed air con (not that its needed right now!)
plus a few other niggles sorted.

the new mounts feel great and the car seems to be more agile and change direction a bit better. bit more cabin noise but the GT3 aint exactly comfort now. when you get over 6k you really get combo of noise and vibration.

the gear change feels better with the new tranny mounts so good stuff.

now off to brands to watch a track day and go out in some racing BMWs. a good day ;-)

Rote Baron has been in for some TLC at Scotts Performance in Dartford.

seats removed and striped
painted backs in guards Red
retreated leather
harness eye lets back to OEM black
oil pressure problem just wanted a new oil pressure switch,
wiring fault in the N/S/F headlamp,
air bag light on just a wiring connection
some new rear number plate lamps and a full health check

am loving the painted backs to the seats and wanted to do for ages

Was the seats expensive to have done?

Looks great BTW :thumb:

I do like the seat back GR colour. I believe it was a factory option on some cars.
I may have to copy you there!

:yeah:

Would also be be interested to know cost...and time scale...and if the bloke ever gets back to you

Do look stunning though, think LS is correct in saying that coloured backs were a factory option but VERY rare!

The seats look great Nick....

Also liking the OZ wheels, they really suit the car.....

Cost was £280 all in for the seats.
