I do not think that the bias has been particularly effected from standard as mine is a CSL and with APs front and rear. Mind you I have Pagid RS 29 up front and Ferodo DS 2500 in the rear (I believe these are the ones provided when you buy a new set of AP front and rears). That may of course be giving slightly more bias to the fronts than is the norm. I know a lot of those on the CSL forum do not rate the Ferodo pads particularly for track work. "Chocolate" is bandied around a lot when the 2500 comes up.
I should add that I generally do two or three laps and come back in for a cool down. I also only go on the Nordschleife Senoj so the shorter and often harder on the brakes tracks of the UK may differ.
Mines a ring special really. When the rear end grabs a bit harder than expected braking after SX it gets your attention..
I was toying with balancing it a bit using different pads, bit of an expensive trial and error process though. Depends who you talk to on the 2500, some rave some don't. My AP kit has AP branded pads wich i assume are re branded Ferrodo?
