Hi,I've just fitted a new expansion tank and a new coolant level sensor, the wiring loom does not plug into the new sensor so I refitted the old sensor into the new tank.plumbed everything back together, filled up with new coolant but it is leaking through the sensor! Does the level sensor come into contact with the coolant or is it in a dry chamber? Do I have a faulty new tank? Any advice will be greatly appreciated 🙄

The sensor doesn,t go into the water , its just a chamber and there are no seals on the sensor .

I would say your new tank is faulty .. i think ive read about the same thing on here not long ago .
