Left for a week and now wont unlock!

In case its not sleep mode then check under the passenger seat for water or water bottles.

Possibly it needs a vehicle handover which is done with a tester but i kinda doubt its that .

Another possible but rare fault is the ignition lock .. it doesnt register that the key is out of the ignition so the fobs wont work .. again a tester to diagnose that fault .
 
Thanks for all the advice guys, sadly to no avail. Cars booked in at Indy week Friday for new Key head and programming...£200!
 
If you are friendly with the dealers don't forget to ask them for a discount on the key head part (normally they can do 10%) and the reduced rate for the 996 age of cars which is now a classic.

It can't be more than 15min work but I suspect 30min maybe the min labour charge time.
