Trap 125 said:Hi Guys,
Does anybody know anything about the above car? Its for sale at 911 Virgin. I've just checked the MOT history and something is very wrong with the milage... :?:
TomH said:Hi,
If you have any questions about the car you only need ask. Feel free to email me or phone. Having inspected the car myself (including an ECU report) I can absolutely guarantee the mileage to be 100% genuine.
For clarification, the car was purchased in 2009 by a gentleman operating out of both London and Rotterdam (We have both his UK and Dutch address in the history file). He owned the car through until November 2011 when he traded the car in for another Porsche with a well known specialist. During his ownership the car was serviced three times, twice in Holland and once in the UK by Jaz Porsche. These services, in addition to the others, are invoice supported.
During this period the odometer was set to display in km given the majority of his driving was Continental and to him distances and speed indicated in km were the norm. MOT tests for the years 09,10 and 11 are in km rather than miles, absolutely nothing untoward has occured.
In the interests of total transparency MOT checks have been carried out as follows :-
2007 at 19856 miles ( No Advisories )
2008 at 23867 miles ( No Advisories )
2009 at 48011 km / 29832 miles (No Advisories )
2010 at 54391 km / 33797 miles ( No Advisories )
2011 at 60230 km / 37425 miles ( No Advisories )
2012 at 38137 miles ( No Advisories )
2013 at 43891 miles ( No Advisories )
29 / 11 / 2014 at 47780 miles - stored /garaged during the winter and not used (No Advisories )
29 /02 /2016 at 49483 miles (No advisories)
2017 at 50720 miles (No advisories)
Hope this clears things up.....At the risk of conforming to stereotype and in true car dealer spin style...nice, and indeed unusual to see a 13 year old GT3 pass each and every MOT without a single advisory notification. It must be a good one !
Cheers
