its annoying as every time I look at the car at the rear I see the bit of black plastic hanging down. I think the little plastic clip on the side has snapped off.

are these common VW parts or does anyone have the part number?

I had to buy two last week when my car was in for an MOT.
Just went straight to OPC as didn't have much time. They were £24 plus vat.

I don't have the boxes anymore but the part number started with 964 so quite old parts.

If I'd had time I would have done an it more research into it.

thanks

spoke to OPC and they seem to be cheaper than ECP and design 911. how odd.

£19.00 inc vat from OPC reading.

part number is:
964.631.620.004
997.631.620.004

all the stuff on ebay and on line all seems to be LED stuff and really lights up the plate. surely the oppo you want ;-)

Euro car parts £6.94 each

Can you share a link please, I can't seem to find it on ECP website.

nice one trig and that is mad.

do they work and just pul right in to replace the OE part?

Yes. When I posted in that thread I had ordered the units but they hadn't arrived.

They are copies, not gen VAG, but they work.
