So i asked Porsche Brooklands for a quote to supply and fit a GT2 RS front bumper on my 997.2 turbo and they came back and said i'm welcome to buy the parts but they can't be seen to fit it... OK, i can kinda see why i guess... then i saw their quotation for the parts! Holy Cow!!!!!

I've attached it for your amusement!

So has this put you off doing the front as well :D

Well wow that's a lot of dough, try a call to Xclusive customs they do a replica one
£500 they will also paint and fit it for you .

I think they are GRP or another composite material, but that doesnt matter its a fraction of the price of the OPC one .
I have their GT2 side skirts made for both wide and narrow body cars . these are PU and look great fitted

Sorry not the best pic of the side skirts but I was on unrestricted autobahn  :floor:

That is eye watering expensive although I would not fit an after market body kit to such a nice car.

Have you asked isysman what he paid for his?

Cheap as chips Ade... Have you tried anywhere else? Gulp!!

Just saw this thread. Looking through the list I'm confused at what some of the parts they've listed. Seems to be an awful lot of parts on that list. I'm wondering if some are for the front? I wouldn't use that list when buying parts, I think it's incorrect.

I bought my bumper on eBay from a Porsche Specialist in Birmingham, it included the carbon exhaust surrounds so it was a bargain (all OEM). Got it for £2200. Bought the front bumper/grills/splitter etc from teile.com. Very good prices. Cost me £6,000 including painting and fitting in total with all OEM parts.

Bear in mind you'll have to change the ducting on the intercoolers to fit the new air flow so price those up as well (I believe they are £179 each but check that price might be top and bottom) Luckily your car already has GT2RS intercoolers so you'll only need the bottom parts I think. (I had to change the top parts and the frames for the intercoolers.)

Main parts are bumper and carbon exhaust grills. The Carbon is the single most expensive parts you'll purchase. Also if you have parking sensors you'll have to have holes cut in and the mounts/sensors moved from your old bumper. And the heat shield underneath will either need to be modified or replaced otherwise it will be visible when the new bumper is fitted.

Page 6 on my build thread has some photos but I didn't document as well in the earlier stages as I do now.

If/when you do the front bumper I have a full list on my build of all parts required.
