1980 Porsche 930

Just finished reading the ddk thread, great read :thumb:

930

Love the car........but for me it could do with some shiny shiny on the wheels. I don't know why but all black wheels on any car just doesn't do it for me.

STichill99, I know what you are saying. Never sure myself, in this instance the wheels were staring to show some clouding on the anodized rim and I was either going to have them done 100% by early911 (Nick Moss) or the cheaper option of powder coat black for some fun. 8) Black for the time being. :thumb:

I have to agree with the above- not a huge fan of all black wheels......
But having said that -I would take this 930 even if it sported wooden cart wheels- it looks the absolute nuts👍
Have Porsche made a better looking and more iconic car? I don't think so.

That car is the real deal, he doesn't have to shout out in any way what so ever , he doesn't even have to whisper in your ear , his presence is enough , the shadow he casts is enough , silver rims "puh!, "silver shwilver " !! .. don't mess with him he will bite you .

No I havnt been drinking :) the car looks great as is IMO :thumb:

Car is home and all issues fully sorted. I had yellow film over the lenses but too this off earlier today. Didn't suit the car IMHO.

Great pics which want me to upgrade the Box Brownie

:hand: However my OCD has kicked in, is there any chance you can 'adjust' the rear wiper arm so the blade is parallel with the edge of the rear window :dont know: It keep getting my attention

Zingari, thanks for pointing this out. :damn:

This is a must now, wont be able to look at it until its sorted. Turns out I have the front wipers on the wrong way also. :wack:

I am too new to this game, always learning. :thumb:

Cheers

Tom

Very nice Tom - that's quite the 'stable' you have there and the pictures are fantastic - build thread in particular

George's new place is looking very swish compared to his old unit - is he still in Rutherglen?
