I do rate Ed the mechanic and enjoy the show.
Big balls-up with the suspension choice though.
I should think the roof has cracked by now.

Did seem a bit OTT in terms of the cost v the return

The car was for sale not long after this on eBay I think

Was this one the one where Edd fixed the broken varioram issue?

It was a friend of mine who bought it. He didn't like it at all and his wife even less. He claimed it was that hard a ride it rattled his fillings out and the Mrs had to wear a sports bra. Sold it soon after.........for a profit.

We had Edd China's member name on eBay and created a list of all the parts he bought (from his feedback) when doing it up.

Consisting of:

New Genuine Porsche 993 Left Hand Near Side Wide Bodied Tailpipe 1996 Onwards

Will need to check this next time I go out in the car and we hit a bumpy road....

:)

Is this the one where he checks for signs of mayo in the oil cap to see whether the head gasket had failed?

It would be interesting to see how much it would go for in 2017...

Ah I remember this eposide. The one where Mike Brewer says "this car has the Varicam engine"...

I joined the forum in 2016 so was interested to read the very informative comments by those "in the know" when the program first aired in 2013.
1. Clearly the experts on here noted issues that needed to be addressed that were not in the program but were done.
2. The £3K spent on the suspension was a major mistake in view of the Targa roof.
I have always enjoyed the program but was sceptical about it as clearly the cars bought must have been given a full inspection pre purchase & the labour costs are not factored into the sale price.
N449 XNC was last for sale in Scotland in late 2016. Will be interesting to see if it sold for £29999 & if current owner is on forum or is known to forum users.
