Common VW/Audi parts

I know its an old thread, but a very useful idea.

996 rear number plate lamp holders
Porsche number 99763162002 (£15.55 +vat +delivery at Design911)
VW number 1J6943021B (£3.99 delivered on Ebay)

£15.76 for a white cardboard box with a Porsche parts sticker.

Thank you, I need a pair..

That's what started me off with his thread - I looked at replacing the heater fan/motor and it is £345 on the Design911 site.

I bought an equivalent part from Europarts for £45, the Valeo part was only a little dearer.

Do you have the part number for this ?

Thanks

The ECP part no was 219440150 and I paid £44.09. The part is EIS, they also sell the OEM Valeo part for about £70 IIRC.

My car is 996.2 which is a bit different from the 996.1 for fitting so the Pelican guide is just that, not the complete answer - I took the glove box out and then it was straightforward. Anyway, it's quite an easy job as long as you are slim/flexible enough to work under the dash!

I suspect relays may be even more generic than that and are industry standard parts.

Thanks Mike 👍

219440155 For the Valeo part, I'll keep a look out for one of ECP's 30% off offers & get one.

If you call them, they may well price match without having to wait

I found out the door catch/latch for the Audi TT MK1 are the same as the 996 and Boxsters when I fixed mine last week, they are quite a bit cheaper but the same part.

For the drivers/off side I think the generic code is 8N2837016B

Agreed about the part no, see my original post, I think it's from the top of range TT.

my 996.2 has the type from the 2nd pic.
Incidentally if you search for the vw part number then there are several versions of these on eBay & Ali-express with a built in reverse camera which should save having to cut an extra hole in your bumper.

Bosch F00M144136
Audi A4 voltage reg. also fits 996 Alternator.
About £27 on eBay.
