Activating Telephony ???

I thought I'd put a SIM in the slot and away I'd go !

But, no - I can't get telephone to activate - any ideas ?
I have been through all the settings I can find - just says Telephony Inactive

Do you have option 666?
It is the PCM phone option. Silver box under the seat.
If you do, you should be able to get it set up with a PIWIS.
 
Easier to get a bluetooth gadget fitted.
 
I do generally use my mobile via bluetooth but, I had a spare 3 sim card.
It is a 3G card - is my PCM version 3 THAT bad that it won't take a 3G card ?

I do have option 666 :evil:


Just says Telephone off or unavailable


Any more thoughts ?
 
I recon you will find you dont have the phone module that links to the PCM2.1
I found the same problem added a bluetooth unit from navtv that sorted it until I added an Alpine head unit . :thumb:
 
if you used a 3 sim it def wont work as they are 3g :)

I know I tried, i got it to work with an Vodafone sim

Yes it really is that bad :)
