Brake Calliper Painting

Just had mine re-furbed,re-painted at Godspeed
Rears £215.00 inc p and p
Fronts £215.00 inc p and p

I did the ones on my boxster and 996 Turbo and it didn't cost more than £20 including the decals. :dont know:

Most of the cheap quoates will have no seals replacement.
Even worse is when they mask up and paint arround.
Every calipers that is more then 5 years old or had more then 50k will have sticky pistons with worn fluid selas.

Some will strip them down and replace all seals with non genuine brembo parts just to keep the quotation low, they might even send you an extra email after you send them calipers with an extra costs if you prefer genuine seals, and that's when you will realised you was screwed.

Proper refurb is not cheap but not expensive ever when you consider how long will it last and what advantage you gain.

At the end of a day you get what you pay for.

My rear calipers are looking a bit tatty, especially since the fronts are new Motorsport items and very, very red.

Was thinking of getting one of the Porsche specialists like RPM or 9E to refurb them for me, but are there any other places that will do a proper job to OEM standard?

Thomas at pro-calipers did mine about three years ago, not the cheapest option but his work is superb and he is nice to deal with. the calipers still look great :D do it once do it right

Another vote for Thomas at Pro-Calipers.

Knowing what you've spent on your motor this year - a drop in the ocean Martin

Nice write up by the way :thumb:

Thanks! 2016 was an expensive year but worth it, I believe.

Those calipers look lovely! I'll definitely talk to Thomas.
