What are people using?

Looking for something good, only really need to read and reset codes..

Coding not really needed.


Any thoughts?

Durametric works well for me and allows for the occasional recode. I got mine second hand off of a member which made it a lot cheaper.
 
It depends what you want to do and what your budget is.

PIWIS is the daddy.
Then:-
Duramteric Pro.
Durametric Enthusiast.
iCarsoft POR2

Apart from them you get generic readers from a few quid to lots.

Torque or DashCommand apps on your phone with an ELM dongle will read and clear generic codes.
 
I use the DashCommand app, it does most generic things but won't reset the service or airbag lights. I have the (snidey) eBay cable and Durametric software for this reason, laptop required so not as convenient as phone/dongle.
 
Hi guys, can i ask what hand held device could i use to carry out service reset etc, something like from ebay?
