Ridiculous question pondered many times ...

Oh well, it would have needed doing anyway, and you were at home. At least it won't squeak anymore!

I confirm that replacing the clutch and flywheel cured the weird squeak!

What would you consider middle age?

Looking forward to annual fun camping trip with my daughter!

Sadly, my rear tyre had other ideas.

Thank's to the AA and a car swap, we made it to the campsite! About 6 hours later than expected.

The AA also supplied and replaced both rear tyres, on my drive, at quite a good price![/img]

Oddly, the strange clutch related squeal on pulling away has returned! :?

Due for service and MOT in two months so will be interesting to see what Hartech have to say.

Otherwise, still great!!

Ouch!

That has nearly happened to me a number of times... I've always taken for granted that the bird would know the car was there, reallly. It appears not!

My nemesis are deer.
