How do I get the most benefit from my upcoming respray?

Hi Steve

Exciting times! I had a glass out 964 restoration completed last winter and am delighted.
The body shop posted a YouTube video if you're interested?

As the other guys have said, be prepared to go over budget especially if you're anything like me..... "oh whilst it's stripped out you may as well....!"
Worn parts will always look worse with bright new paintwork.
Make sure you get all the rubbers and seals replaced.

Keep us posted. :)

Where would you advise getting a new 964 windscreen from ? , mine is going in for paint in November , its in a bad condition so ill replace it , anywhere in particular recommended ?? cheers

Just picked up on this but there's a guy called 'Fuch' on RL (not sure if he's on here) who I think can supply windcreens or knows a source :dont know:

Mark is as good as it gets in the windscreen business

Also does RS rear screens and heated fronts, he's just supplied the front screen for mine after its sunroof delete
