911 1971 Engine Relay Board wiring - Help!

Hi, I have bought myself a lovely 1971 911T Targa. most of the car is in pretty good condition however the engine bay looks like an electrician worked on it whilst blindfolded using an axe. Surprising the engine works fine, just the wires are very untidy. See pic attached.

In an effort to tidy up the wiring I am looking to install a new Engine relay board plus all the relevant wires / harnesses to get it back to what it should look like and work properly too.

I have found a new mounting plate from Design911 but I wanted to know where to get replacement wires that connect the fuses, resisters etc on the board. Mine are clearly non-existent..also are there any simple pics that show how to wire this baby properly back to how it should be. Wiring diagrams won't help..

Also, as you can see I don't have an original spark box. Where can I get one from? Or do you advise me to get a modern version like the classic retrofit version.

Thanks in advance![/img]

give autofarm a ring, nothing they don't know about any aircooled era, they are near m40 at Bicester, they have specialists for every type of issue.

get yourself on to the DDK forum . you'll find all the help you need .. Autofarm ? .. prepare to have an empty wallet :floor:

Ive done a few tidy ups of that area .. its not that hard , you can always replace each wire in turn if unsure .. i would start by opening up that harness and seeing what lurks inside :)

Anyways .. wireing diagram ive found usufull , look for no.3 and the fusebox next to it ..
