Hi, looking for some advice

Running an 87 on a G50. Took the car in for an MOT at a non specialist the other day and just as I arrived the clutch oil supply hose failed.

The garage said they could fix it no problem and against my better judgement I asked them to do it.

Anyway when I got the car back I realised after a couple of miles that the clutch pedal is completely limp for the first couple of inches, then engages ok after pressure- very disconcerting.

I called the garage and they said , quote `we bled the clutch as much as we could`.

Any ideas what the issue is anyone- complete incompetence or is the cylinder knackered ?- apparently its still the original one in the car.

Cheers!

take it back, don't be fobbed off, stand your ground. Too much of this passing the buck nonsense.
