Cheers. I love it but I've had my head turned by the new Triumph Thruxton R hence the sale. I fancy a retro cafe racer look for a change now.

Not seen or heard a single bad comment about them yet!
Was considering a Norton but numerous reviews of bad oil leaks, poor support and frustration over minor niggles.

Nice, I always think the 748`s look better in yellow. I had a brand new 748S 16 years ago and managed to blow the engine up on it after just 600 miles! Surprised Luckily Ducati assumed it was some manufacturing problem and fixed it under warranty!

Ive currently got a 996 in my collection which ive spent more than the bike cost turning it into an SPS. Really I guess I should have just bought an SPS in the first place, but having done all the work myself at least its taught me a lot about Ducatis.

Good luck with the sale, now`s the time of year to sell a bike! Thumb

Really? I was only paying £60 a year for my R1. When I added the 996 to the policy it doubled it to £120 for both which I felt was expensive as I can only ride one bike at once!

It's certainly not going down in value Smile
It's time for a change that's all. I don't do many miles per year and the ducati is a proper all out racer. Unless you are nailing it and on twisty lanes it's not a relaxed ride by any means. I rode it to the IOM and back and my wrists and bum can still feel it lol.
I'll probably do more miles on something more relaxed Smile

Will do. 16th September is delivery date, Triumph can't make them fast enough at the minute!
Test ride was impressive, sport mode throttle is very sharp lol, popping unintentional wheelies. Hand
