Fluid leak

I recently had the brake fluid changed on my c4. Subsequently I seem to have a leak that is dripping down next to the front jacking point drivers side. I also have a heavy clutch/stiffness getting into first. Not sure if any of this is connected.

It's going back to the garage. But would like to know what the likely cause is.

Thanks

That side would be where the overflow for the brake fluid resides.....
Maybe an overfill :?:

Heavy clutch could be air in the system even after bleeding.
C4's are notoriously awkward to bleed without a Bosch Hammer.

Yes, it is overfilled - just looked. Thought that was where the overflow went.

Clutch was heavy before fluid change. What else might it be - clutch slave cylinder?

Id make sure they did actually bleed the slave (often overlooked).
I've fitted a uprated slave from MPL, which has softened the peddle and improved things massively if your still having probs.

Nope, that's what the overflow is for. Nothing to worry about.

Where is the slave cylinder on the car and is it easy to access/change?

Not sure on a C4. It is at around the 1:00 on the bell housing looking from the front of the car on my C2. Probably a bit of pita to access with the prop etc on the C4?

I assume you bled the slave at the same time as the brakes?
As they share the same reservoir I'm assuming it needs to be done?

Fluid change was done by a very well known indie - so I would hope it was done!
