My 1998 Boxster 2.5 project begins...

Yesterday I did some more work on the paintwork and most of it will probably be restorable to a reasonable standard apart from the o/s rear quarter panel which had quite a bad paint reaction..

Anyway I got a little more involved than I had planned to at this stage.

You don't mess about.

I've just bought a storage unit which fits under the stereo and replaces the CD holder as there aren't many cubby holes in the Boxster.

You may be interested in doing the same - unless you've got one.

My car has the console delete ( like a GT3 :D :D :D ) which is a revelation with the extra leg room it gives. :thumb:

I have been looking at this though which may be of interest to us Tip owners.

Man I love that but ...

£400

to fit two paddles to an existing wheel?

Talk me into it.

Console Delete? Where do you put your stuff?

Don't tell all the 911 owners, but Porsche gave you a spare boot behind the engine

I'm not going to pull over every time I want a Tic Tac.

A bit more progress this evening. :D

Flatted and masked up.

Let us spray!. :worship:

That'll do for this evening.Tomorrow I will give it a light flat with 2000 wet paper and then burnish with G3.

Wow, you've got a garage.

Last guards red paint job I did was on my drive after I borrowed my mates 318i and reversed the rear arch into my wall

Good work Ady - IMPRESSED

I see you got some over-spray on the gas bottle

Looking Good :thumb:

Well the good news is that I have got the finish pretty much perfect with a
lovely depth of shine.

The bad news is that the colour is a mile off!..Oh well.

I will carry on with my other list of jobs and I will give the back quarter another go at a later date with the gun and do some test cards and tint the paint to match.

That looks incredible. Don't worry about the paint match. Get it dirty.
