Hey everybody!

Recently I very happily entered the world of air cooled Porsche with the purchase of a 964 Targa C2... Holy smokes man!!!! its just RAW!

Anyways.... I have a couple of mechanical issues I was hoping I can get some feedback on.

1. Rear auto spoiler 'clicking' once down - is there a reset for this so the system knows its down? or??

2. Wheel Alignment... The 'specialist' guy wasnt able to do a wheel alignment and never offered anywhere to go (odd I know) and my buddy I use for my other cars isnt very sure about the set up using his latest all bells and whistle system... Is this a dark art? anyone recommend someone in Edinburgh or local?

3. Once the car has been running for say 45mins it becomes very difficult to go into 2nd and pretty much impossible to get into 1st or reverse. Someone has pointed me to the clutch slave cylinder needing bled or a rubber hose that gets warm. Either way the problem always solves itself once the engine is switched off.

4. I found a switch to the left of the drivers footwell - it has a small red light by it too. What is this for?

Any help is hugely appreciated.

Welcome aboard :)

Spoiler problem is likely the down microswitch needing adjustment. It's behind the plastic cover under the engine lid, right hand side of lid. Have a Google, mbut it's just a case of someone manually operating the cabin switch and checking to see when the micro switch is tripped, stopping the spoiler moving.
