I have a 1990 964 engine in my '79 SC track car and have just installed this shift light:

but even though I have connected it up as suggested I can't get the rev limit to be in the right place, it just defaults to 2000 rpm.

I would be very grateful if anyone had any helpful suggestions as to where I might have gone wrong, or for other options to try etc.

the guys at Omex don't have an answer :(
they seem think it might have something to do with the way the coils are configured????

thanks very much
