So as per my other post on buying advice I bough the car today 8)
I am collecting it next week once its MOT'd etc. They are giving me 6 months warranty with the car through Auto Protect. On paper it looks a decent warranty (glossy brochures always look good)
The question is do I extend it unto 1 year for an extra £499? I am pretty tapped out cash wise now after buying it but could swing it. The only thing I am worried about really is an IMS failure. That should be covered on the warranty for 6 months. So do I keep the 500 notes in my pocket and save up another 700ish over the 6 months warranty I have then go of the ultimate Insurance of replacing it with the upgrade ceramic bearing and put it to bed for ever? or pay it and have a year piece of mind then do the upgrade?
Obviously there are other things that can go wrong with the car but I expect some wear and tear items anyway as part and parcel of living with a Porsche.
Not really worried about the nav system and all that jazz.
