My blue C2 964 rebuild thread

Looks great Peter, you have to be pleased with that paint finish :bandit:

Fucs in black and silver get my vote. Would suit your new paint a treat 8)

Failing that try something different and look at the Image Wheels website at their custom wheels...

I also like the bbs wheels you have on just not sure they now suit the style, how about a set of 17" cup 2 with painted centers ( Orange ?)which have a nicer lip than cup ones and are a lot cheaper to pick up

not a fan of cups.

As Image Wheels are only 25 miles away I might take a trot over.

Seems to be a more accurate reflection of the colour...

Whereabouts are the CCFC decals going :?:

Nice one Pete. :thumb:

What about a set of twists like you had on that old red one you used to have  they look good in porsche satin platinum!
Car is looking great by the way Pete

Slightly lighter colour than the last time your saw it, Mike.

Good spot Terry. It's not really gulf blue, it's Tony Mowbray Sky Blue.

My blue C2 thread New beginnings

Hi Pete
If I may offer my humble opinion? Having gone for a solid slightly old school colour I think the Fuchs would look awesome? :dont know:

Fabulous colour choice. Speedlines all the way!

Looking lovely Pete

Well Pete popped in at work today to show me the pale blue warrior.
It looks fabulous and the interior suits it well. I have placed my hat in the ring regarding the wheel colour so we shall leave it there.
The colour as Pete rightly says just isn't the same in the photos. In the flesh it just looks like a cloudless sky :cloud9:

Came close to buying an RS recreation a while back in this colour, think Fuchs would suit black (or perhaps white)

I've bought some new wheels, 17" split rims. At the moment they are polished metal, but I'm waiting to get the car back and put the wheels on to see how they look, and if I am going to paint them, and if so what colour.

You can't rush these things.

However the car is back to bare metal again as the job was not good enough so it's being re-done.
