running 305/30/18 on rear of mk2 GT3 996

I read on Rennlist that the 305 30 18 can be run on the 11 inch rear rim on the 996GT3 mk2

I have a standard set up on the car (rebuilt bilstein coilovers) so was wondering if they would work on the car? or would they rub on the sides?

any thoughts would be welcome.

i had that size on my 10J rears, and they were no problem. (narrow body)
from what i can remember there was about 5mm lower ride hight, and my speedo was out about 2%
no rubbing issues, and i am using gembella suspension.
 
And probably some increased understeer unless you balance the front trye up.
