Swopped the wheels over last w.end and I was bloody stiff after doing it, all ready for some summer driving
It's not that hard! Although it might be easier if you jack up the 997 from the rear jacking point and do both wheels on the same side when it's off the ground.Swopped the wheels over last w.end and I was bloody stiff after doing it, all ready for some summer driving View attachment 99195
Does jacking the back up lift both? 1st time i have done it as usually take to my mate at ATS, and had to take them of again as the summer wheels do not like the wheel spacers and vibrate. It's not that hard! Let me know when it is available please Thank youFinally brought a 991.2 DCS controller direct from them in the US in the end. Worked out surprisingly cost effective. Will have a 991.1 DSC controller available with up to date config files etc if anyone is interested.
If you jack up the car from the jacking point in front of the rear wheel, the chassis is more than stiff enough to lift both rims on that side up into the air for a wheel change. I would suggest chocks on the other side and use of a spare wheel underneath the sill for safety.Does jacking the back up lift both? 1st time i have done it as usually take to my mate at ATS, and had to take them of again as the summer wheels do not like the wheel spacers and vibrate.
Cheers for the advise Dean
